Peter joined JP Morgan Chase Investment Services as a financial advisor in 2005 and transitioned his practice seven years later to the HighPoint Advisor Group/LPL Financial. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Tennessee (FPA-Middle Tennessee) and is a Certified Kingdom Advisor CKA®.
Peter believes in four key principles for successful financial planning:
- Having clear and quantifiable goals
- Applying the most prudent strategies given one's resources
- Cost-effective planning
- Understanding that none of these prior principles matter without discipline
Outside of his practice, Peter is a community advocate for financial literacy, speaking annually and coaching through the local church. He advocates a higher fiduciary standard of care for the financial services industry. Peter likes to spend time teaching through different programs to both adults and children. Peter and his wife, Thea, reside in Spring Hill, Tennessee, with their youngest daughter Lydia. They spend summers in Chicago, Lake Geneva, and Michigan enjoying the outdoors. During time off, he enjoys biking, fishing, camping, and long walks with his family and their dog. Weekends include the farmers market, time in the kitchen sharing quality food, and new adventures with family and friends.
